I've just learned that Enabling Technologies has announced
a new embosser, called the Book Maker, which prints interpoint braille
at 80 c p s, and weighs 50 pounds in a similar case
to that of the Marathon Brailler.  It costs in the
neighborhood of eight thousand dollars; first
shipments are scheduled for October.
