This is a beta-test release. It is available for anonymous uucp from osu-cis and anonymous ftp from tut.cis.ohio-state.edu and soon, if not already, from prep.ai.mit.edu. Get groff-0.4.tar.Z (approximately 760k). The major new feature in this release is support for fractional point sizes. Also new in gtroff is the ability to write arbitrary files. There are a couple of new features in gpic: boxes will have rounded corners if you give them a non-zero radius attribute; text can be rotated so that it is aligned with the object of which it is an attribute (this feature is only available with PostScript output devices.)
