I have recently acquired a Racal-Vadic 4850PA Modem
without any instructions of course!

It seems to work just fine except that once it
connects no data is exchanged.  I'm wondering
if it is operator error on my part. It passes
self-test and loopback data is passed.

Any suggestions as to possible options that need
to be set (or what each numeric option or jumpers
is for) would be most appreciated.
