Hi,

    I've been watching discussions on data compression algorithms
float by for a while now.  And I've just received in the mail, from
Telebit, a paper discussing various compression algorithms and
their performance.  It looks fairly thorough, and has lots of good
references.  It's twelve pages long, so I'm not going to type it
in.  And I'm not going to risk a summary.  Maybe someone else can do
this.

    Anyway, I had to call up and ask for it, they didn't just send
it out.  So you may want to call up and get your own copy.
