According to the Elm documentation, I should be able to create a .forward file with the line: "| /usr/local/bin/filter -o /tmp/filter.out" or something similar and have all of my mail passed through the filter first. However, this does not seem to be working. I have hand-fed saved mail through Filter, and it works like a charm. But Sendmail apparently does not recognize the pipe command in my ~/.forward file. How can I get Sendmail to recognize this? Eric -- Eric Peterson, Technician ...
