.....if you have access to a real UNIX box, do the upgrade on that box.
This saves your nerves.
The upgrade is pretty trivial then if you have collected the postings,
all can be made in a few minutes.

I am not an askete, so why upgrading on the MINIX box when the postings
arrive at the UNIX box anyway?
