Warning:
the posted lharc does not compile out of the box on a SUN.
First of all modify Makefile.unix. Select the bsd switches.
 
Then I got compiler errors since both <dirent.h> and <sys/dir.h>
are included, which gave duplicate definitions.  
You'll have to comment out the inclusion of <dirent.h> in lharc.h
  
I have the feeling that the introduction of #ifdef _MINIX  
broke something...
