Message-ID: <1990Jul18.174301.29728@ariel.unm.edu> Date: 18 Jul 90 17:43:01 GMT Sender: usenet@ariel.unm.edu (USENET News System) Organization: University of New Mexico, Albuquerque Lines: 25 I occasionally use gwbasic (basica) for quick and dirty application pgm.s, and I often find the automatic screen-clear to be a severe annoyance. Is there: 1) a patch to suppress this CLS when basic is invoked, and 2) a patch to suppress the copyright notice, etc. from being displayed? The latter is strictly icing on the cake; I can easily live without it. The screen-clear, however, is a real pain in the nuisance with which I'd like to dispense. Basic has CLS available if I want the screen cleared. So does messdos. If it matters, the name is GW-BASIC 3.22. Suggestions are entertained.
