Are you shure that you specified the right com port and speed? Because C-kermit works on my machine it must be a problem of you hardware or software. Check if the 16550 chips are ok (with a serial mouse, for example). I don't know if the PS/2 machines require something about the ABIOS which is fond on the distribution disks?
