Can anyone provide some information on a Hewlett-Packard 2631G printer?

This is a dot-matrix printer, with a 24-pin Centronics-style connector on it,
plus a few dip switches on the back.  I can get it to do a self-test, but
I have no other information about this machine.  

Is this a printer that only likes to work with H/P hardware, or is there
a possibility of using it on a PC?
