Version 6 or the current 6a is recommended. Version 5 won't cut the mustard. Do an anonymous ftp to sun.soe.clarkson.edu and obtain the latest Pkt Drvrs. Please note that I have not made any changes to the 3Com board code to accomodate promiscuous mode; as noted, the Netwatch support is really for Packet Drivers. However, using the material in the /packet directory of PC/IP one can make the changes to particular boards. Generally speaking, the Packet Driver code is far better than the ancient stuff for boards in PC/IP. Joe D.
