Message-ID: <5053@milton.u.washington.edu> Date: 13 Jul 90 21:37:13 GMT Sender: news@milton.u.washington.edu Organization: The Evergreen State College, WA Lines: 21 (eat me) I have submitted a bug report to bugs@commodore.com in regards to WP running under the release version of 2.0 on an A2000 with the developer kickfile disk. Under that configuration, the workbench version command reports versions incorrectly (i.e. 33.180 and 33.68 even though I had 36.141 and 36.68 -- there is a developer command which reports these properly). Until Commodore has been able to evaluate my bug report, I don't know why some people are able to use WordPerfect except that they may not be using the most recent release (4.1.11 9/29/89). Please accept my appologies for adding to the confusion, but I'm glad I found out that there is apparently a bug somewhere which had not been reported to Commodore. -- There are two ways to improve on human factors in computing: to make the programmers less stupid and/or to make the users less stupid. Both are necessary, but neither is likely. -Dale Larson, Digital Teddy Bear (dlarson@blake.acs.washington.edu)
