I have gotten a good portion of E-Mail... mostly asking about BIX.. so here is the info for BIX... 1. Bix charges $39 per quarter, or $2.00 per hour. 2. You can get a BIX Tymenet Account that lets you call bix as much as you want between 7PM-7AM (I think these times are correct) weekdays, 24 hours on the weekend and legal holidays (as per Tymenet), for a FLAT $20 a month. There are NO additional charges as long as you call within the alloted time frame. 3. Bix has a VERY active Amiga message area... as just about *ALL* Amiga developers are online plus Commodore themeselves. 4. Bix has an OK file library. It was really non-existent about a year ago, but since they have gone flat rate... the software area has exploded... I think there are almost 2,000 files online now. And growing FAST! PLUS, they support Z-Modem downloading. I cant really speak about some of the other areas on BIX... but all the ones I have been in are very active. Here is BIX's toll free customer service no... anyone wishing further info should call them for details. It is 1-800-227-2983. They answer from 8:30 AM - 11:00PM weekdays. This number will work in Canada too. Its also the number customers can call with questions or problems. Outside of the US or Canada (or in New Hampshire) 1-603-924-7681. I am in *NO* way connected to BIX, other than a happy customer! - Doug - Doug_B_Erdely@Cup.Portal.Com
