Just to 'chime in' with the rest of you here, I also have a 2091 with the 
same mysterious problem.  I started a thread on the subject a few months back
on c.s.a.t., but I finally got frustrated by everyone telling me to do 
the same old thing (which never worked for me at all...).  I have 590fix in 
my startup sequence, and now everything behaves normally.  The only exceptions
to this are a few games that must boot from floppy.  Some of these still won't
work if the 2091 is automounted at powerup.....
