Message-ID: <4861@munnari.oz.au> Date: 20 Jul 90 02:58:23 GMT Sender: news@cs.mu.oz.au Reply-To: ianr@mullian.ee.mu.OZ.AU (Ian ROWLANDS) Organization: Dept. of Electrical Engineering, University of Melbourne Lines: 18 To allow developers to use AmigaDOS 2.0 on existing 1000, 500 and 2000 setups, I believe a program called 'KickIt' was given to developers so they could load in 2.0 Kickstart (and hence efficiently use the WorkBench 2.0 disk). I believe it copies itself into fast ram, and then appears like it is in ROM. My question is - do anybody know if this utility will come out to the general public? I'd like to use 2.0 Workbench and Kickstart, but I DON'T want to replace a stable 1.3 Kickstart Rom with a possibly unstable 2.0 Rom (at least until it is stable). Anybody from C= care to comment?
