I am looking to expand my A500 to three megabytes. I already have an A501- type expansion and I would prefer that the additional two megs be external or at least not the "trap door" type. I wanted to query the collective wisdom of this newsgroup on which expansions I should look at and which ones I should avoid. I am looking for the most cost-effective was to do this. I also don't expect to expand past 3 megs before I get a 3000 (in about a year). Part II. I have the chance to get a used A1000 for my girlfriend (who I don't think will worry about 2.0 that much :-) and I need suggestions for a 512K expansion for it. (The machine I am looking at has 512k in it, and she'll need a meg for the word-processing stuff she'll be doing). Thanks in advance for your help. I will post a summary of this if enough requests for forwarded info come in. ...greg... ___ Disclaimer: The opinions expressed above are not my own, but AMIGA! //// the property of some higher-up power, to which I am only a tool. //// "Welcome, my son.
