My replies: 1) The Rom 03 comes with 1 Meg stock of RAM. That should be enough for Nucleus, if you have no space alloted for a RAM disk. 2) You can keep the Finder from running by deleting it. Then place the program you want to auto-run in the System folder and rename it 'START'. Note that if the program you want to auto-run is ProDOS 8 based you will have to put the P* file back on the disk. (Ooops not P* but P8). If you still need it to have room, try getting rid of the Control Panel CDEV and CDEV files. You can access the control panel using Open Apple-Control-Escape anyway so the desktop version is mainly there for neophytes and those who don't like the old style version. 3) I'm glad to here the GS can compete a little with the higher-up Macs. If you still need the extra drive...rent it for the two months...rentals are cheap and relatively easy to get ahold of. Ditto for a hard drive. (PS all Mac SCSI drives are 100% compatible with the GS...you just have to reformat them to ProDOS...which erases any Mac stuff you might have on it)
