I've got a CDA that will blank the screen after a period of inactivity.  It's 
the Alarm Clock CDA and it's available from America Online and GEnie as well.

Even though it has an alwarm clock feature I only use it to blank my screen
after five minutes.  I've been using it a month or so and have not had any
problems with it.  I'll post it to comp.binaries.apple2 if enough folks are
interested in it.
