I have been making a lot to do about this everywhere I can and have come up with much of nothing. I will be trying to write a little program to do this in either standard atari basic, or in pascal. You have a few problems right off. First, a standard midi file is sequencer data and I don't know of a kawai that has a sequencer. Second, I'll presume that what you really want is a bulk dump, (all patches uploaded). The kawai's that I'm familier with have no bulk dump in the familiar sense. Instead, they send a patch at a time and expect the uploading side to send a kawai sysex "ACK" packet. To see if this is really your problem, try uploading just one "single" patch.
