It is a part of IDT's cross-development System (XDS 3.0) that consists of GNU cpp & cc, and IDT's RISChed (instruction scheduler for R3000), assembler and linker that produces downloadable S-record files which can be loaded to boards running IDT's PROM monitor. XDS 3.0 is targeted to cross-development. It has been tested on various IDT's target boards with R3000 for stand-alone programs and with JMI C-executive RTOS. XDS runs on 80286 (yes, 16 bit) and 80386 under XENIX or DOS. It also runs on M-120 and ports to SUN and other UNIX platforms are pending. The release based on GNU C 1.35 will be announced in August. 1.37.1 will follow within few weeks. -- ############################################################################ # Vladan Djakovic, IDT (Integrated Device Technology), Santa Clara, CA # # ... uunet!idt!vladan (All opinions are mine.
