Subject: VP-Expert anyone (or other expert system shells)?

Has anyone heard of VP-Expert expert system shell?  I was told it can be
purchased at some schools for $50 (student edition).  I wondered if this is
true because it is not available at Penn State.  I'm also interested in hearing
pros and cons about this expert shell and I know, somewhere back in those PC
magazines, there must be tons of evaluations, comparisons, user responses about
this topic.  Therefore, if anyone has experience on expert system shells,
please send me a note of personal opinions and/or where I can possibily find
articles about them.   Thanks in advance.
