When I run anyt hing in 800x600 resolution, I get lines or should I say distoring bands on the screen. The lines run vertically, eminating from the center of the screen to c urved bands at the sides. In 640x480, I get perfically vertical lines across t he screen. I have tried various solutions to this problem. The lines don't show up on a N EC 3D, PS/2 640x480, or a VGA 640x480 Goldstar. Other vidio cards don't give t he same lines on my monitor. I am running an OEM VGA card with a Paradise chip set. I have not isolated the problem to the card or the monitor, but with the two together... These lines are destroying the potentially impressive displays of Windows 3.0 p ackages. If anyone has a tip, could you please send me a note? I talked with NEC. They were absolutly, positively no help. Thank you in advance, Trevor Rose Penn State University, TMR116@psuvm.psu.edu
