I have received some Mac public domain programs that are in BinHex 4.0 format.
This is apparantly a well used method of transfering files through SMTP mail.
I would appreciate any information on how to obtain the BinHex 4.0 program.

I would also like to know if it is possible to use uuencode / uudecode to      
tranfer binary mac files.
