I have a copy of Starflight that I've been playing for a while. It's not a great game, but I'm stubborn enough to want to finish it before I get something better. To this end, I could use some help because I'm getting a bit bored since I seem to be getting nowhere fast. My questions: (1) There are a couple of planets that I can't orbit. Whenever I try, a swarm of ships surround me and get unpleasant. I can blow them away no problem, but everytime I try to orbit more show up so I'm never able to orbit. Is there any way to deal with this? (2) I have this "Black Egg" device which is supposed to be some sort of bomb that I have to drop to detinate. Dropping it in space while surrounded by hostile ships does nothing. I haven't tried it on a planet yet (why would I want to?). What's a good use of this thing? (3) The "Black Egg" device seems to hang out in the terrain vehicle while I'm on a planet, and I've found another device which won't fit while it's there. Is there any way around this? (4) Any other general help would be appreciated. I've been wandering around the universe with a fully trained crew and fully loaded ship. It seems pointless to just land on every planet I see, and I've followed any hints I get, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance! -Eric ---------- Eric R.
