I just hooked up a 60 meg CMS external hard drive to my SE/30. The drive was formerly formatted under prodos, and I have no mac tools disks to make my life nicer. It uses the standard Seagate mechanism, which brings me to my problem. In an attempt to get it working, I hacked HD/SC setup to recognize it. This allowed me to install the drivers, but it set the 60 meg drive up as a 40000K volume. WHat should I do to get at the other 21xxxK? If some kind sould could send me appropriate software or pointers to it, I would be indebted. (I will be out of town next week, but I will reply to responses when I get back.) (Any tech types out there know why it is doing this, and a clever way to hack HD/SC into working properly? I am somewhat intrigued, but my 68K assembler is woefully lacking.)
