Does anyone know what happened to Crate (as in TapeCRATE) technology??

First they changed their 800 phone number and started answering the new 800
number as "IronWorks"(??).  Then that 800 was disconnected.  The 800 operator
doesn't have a listing for either name (actually they list both the old 
disconnected 800 numbers).

I was working with their customer support to solve a problem and using the
800 number.  After a couple of months of "debugging" by me (and them) I called
one last time and ask for them to call back (the guy I'd been working with was
out at the time).  He never called back...  About a week later I tried again
and their 800 number was disconnected.  Very strange...

Did they go Chapter 11?  Any ideas anyone?
