We lost a 91 MB CDC (RLL) last year too :-(  While I don't have any
specific suggestion to fix it, I can tell you what we did.  We sent it
to JB Technologies (805) 529-0908 in Moorpark, CA.  They specialize
in hard disk repair/replacement/recovery.  I can't remember what it 
cost, but their current ad in COMPUTER SHOPPER says the flat rate for
86-120 MB drives is $247.50.  This was substantially less than the
company we bought it from (Everex).  We were very satisfied and it has
been working happily for the past year.

BTW,  their flat rate for 20-29 MB drives is $112.50.
