I just upgraded my IIci (5 Meg RAM, 40Mb Apple internal drive) from 6.0.4 to 6.0.5. I simply used Apple's installer. I remember reading somewhere (probably on the net) that the 6.0.4 HD SC Setup had problems formatting disks on the IIci. I saw no mention of this in the read-me files that came with 6.0.5 but I do notice that the version of HD SC Setup that came with 6.0.5 is now 2.0.1 instead of 2.0. I've already used HD SC Setup 2.0.1 to install a new driver on my disk. My question is: Do I need to reformat my disk with HD SC Setup 2.0.1 from 6.0.5 or am I okay with a disk as formatted vial 2.0 with the updated driver from 6.0.5? Please email responses and I will sumarize if useful. Tom McCabe tmccabe@cs.washington.edu
