I find the IM-V documentation to be somewhat vague on how to pull this off. I do NOT want the dithered results that arise from using MakeRGBPat. If anyone has any suggestions/advice, I'd be interested in hearing them... I could live with a ResEdit-based solution (using ppats), but have had as little luck using that (ResEdit 1.2) as mucking around directly in memory.
