Is it possible to have gray scale on a sun SLC, by adding for example the
8-bit color frame buffer used on the Sparc-1, or another specific frame
buffer ?  Gray scale monitors are quite an interesting alternative to more
expensive color screens. It would be nice to be able to do that on a cheap
machine like the SLC...
