I have a 3/50 (running 4.0.3) mounting a partition local to another 3/50
(running 3.5)  The 3.5 machine's kernel has "root access across the
network" enabled.

The problem is that as root on the 4.0.3 machine, I don't have root access
on the 3.5 partition.  Other 3.5 machines mount this partition and root
access works correctly for them.

Suggestions?  Thanks in advance.
