Warning: Of all printers claiming HP Laserjet compatibility, only the following have passed exhaustive testing: - HP LaserJet - HP LaserJet + - HP LaserJet II - HP LaserJet IIP - HP LaserJet IID - HP LaserJet III In particular, I know of *NO* non-HP laser printer which can handle downloaded bitmap fonts in LJ mode (which is a critical feature if you're printing TeX output). Nelson Beebe will have support for various HP "compatible" printers in his release 3 of his DVI drivers (I think he might be distributing executables now, source is definitely NOT available).
