Message-ID: Date: 16 Jul 90 19:26:40 GMT Organization: Rutgers Univ., New Brunswick, N.J. Lines: 27 Hi, I just installed A/UX 2.0. However, I am still waiting for manuals, so at the moment, I am unable to RTFM. So if I am asking questions that should be referred to the manuals, please bear with me. First, I am consistently getting "/: file system full" mysteriously, when I still have 2 megs in the root partition and 29 megs in the /usr partition. Both time this happend right after I issued "man xxx | lpr". "man xxx | lpr" did work most of the time until the "/: file system full" error occurred. Anybody knows why? Second, how can I ftp or telnet from A/UX without an ethernet card? We have a Kinetic FastPath connected to an ethernet backbone, and NCSA Telnet works just fine. Nevertheless, I am having problem using FTP and Telnet supplied with A/UX. Is there anything in particular that needs to be configured in case to get ftp and telnet to work with Kinetic FastPath? Just in case, this is the configuration: Mac IIcx with 80 meg drive for MacOS Jasmine DirectDrive 100 for A/UX root 25 meg /usr 51 meg swap 18 meg autorecovery 4 meg MacPartition 3 meg Peter Chen
