With the release of ELM 2.3 PL5 I have been bitten by, what I have been told is an (in)famous bug in the Microport System V/AT 2.4 libcurses.a regarding the fuction tgetstr.o, causing a Segmentation Violation when attempting to display a message. My solution was to employ an older copy of the library, from the 2.3 release, which does not have this bug. I have been told that there exist numerous software solutions to this problem. If you know of one, it might serve others well to include it in the README file, near the diff provided to handle an arithmetic problem when using the Microport SysV/AT C compiler. Thank you.
