When the routine is compiled to run as a standalone program, it works fine. However when the routine is incorporated into a program that is run by RPC, rsh doesn't seem to work. No error message is returned, but the program on the remote machine is not executed. I am using full pathnames for the rsh command and the program to be remotely executed. I would really appreciate any clues as to what is going on.
