PS: we are currently designing the 2nd version of this format, which will provide such goodies as a simplified syntax, symbolic color names overridables at runtime, default colors for mono/gray/color visuals, and direct inclusion in any language (C, lisp, C++, scheme, etc...). The developer of this new design is the new member of the Koala team, Arnaud Le Hors, (lehors@mirsa.inria.fr) who is replacing Daniel Dardailler wo left us to work in the OSF/Motif team. We are completing a draft on this new format that will be submitted for discussion on comp.windows.x next week. This format IS public domain, and thus the discussions on it should be as open as possible. We will provide afterwards a C implementation of the read/write routines on this format.
