Does anyone know of a program for X that multiplexes a single serial
connection into multiple Unix windows?

There is a popular program "UW" that runs on a remote Unix host, and
has several microcomputer implementations of the local side (Mac,
atari, etc). I wonder if anyone has done the local side for X. As an
alternative I know there are also some micro programs that use the
Layers protocol meant for the Blit.
