I've seen several answers posted by people: mit/config/README, mit/config/imake.man, mit/doc/config/usenixws/paper.ms, mit/RELNOTES.ms. It may well be that the documentation is insufficient. Several people have indicated that they have slogged through imake and now understand it. Perhaps they'd be willing to contribute some documentation ... I did not know that anything GNU was not freely distributable. Is this true? Or are you referring to the few conditions that come along with the right to distribute. The conditions attached to FSF source are unacceptable to us for inclusion in an X distribution.
