The problem is she has limited power and poor balance. It is possible that one day she could learn to ride the bike again, but our summer is short and we would like to get out and enjoy it. I have searched magazines, books, and our local bike shops for ideas to help her, and one idea that I've found is converting her ten speed Schwinn to three wheeler. In a book published in 1980, "The All New Complete Book of Bicycling", by Eugene Sloane he shows such a conversion and says that kits are available. I haven't been able to locate any mention of these kits anywhere but this book. Does anyone out there know of anything like this? Please, I'm looking for details, and thanks! Joe
