This BK carries special paper menus where you check off what you want, indicating whatever you want on your selections (veggies, condiments, etc). Although it would be really nice if they had at least one order person who signed, I have to believe that this is a step in the right direction. The printing on the forms indicate that this is a special menu for the hearing impaired and is printed by BK corporate .... not a local effort. It seems to me that ANY BK should be able to order these, and have them on hand if they do a large business with H/I persons. At the same time, a blind friend of mine bemoans the fact that almost NO fast food restaurants carry braille menus on hand. All they would really need to do is produce ONE for each restaurant on plastic or aluminum....they would last practically forever, and could just be kept at the counter. ....Rick -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!101!165!Rick.Giguere Internet: Rick.Giguere@f165.n101.z1.fidonet.org
