I have an ileostomy and have used several differnt adhesives. I have used the following with good results: Skin Prep, Tincture of Benzion, IV skin prep, and there is a waterproof tape, I can't remember the name but it's sort of flesh toned and waterproof. It costs about $6.00 for a roll. I found it very useful. Also Hollister makes a cream, its in a big plastic tube and its the consistency of an oitment and I swear it worked miracles on healing an excoration I had aroung the stoma. As a side note, I used the cream on my dog when she keep biting herself from dry skin irritation. All the redness was gone the next morning. I'm sorry I can't remember the name but the tube is white w/red lettering. I hope this helps some.
