The cover is either red or orange. I think it was written by some guys from Texas Instruments. If still available, it shouldn't cost more than $7.95 US. Other info is available in some of the modem-chip mfgr's data books and app notes; see Rockwell, TI, Sierra, Silicon Systems?, etc... Another possible source is the test labs of Dash, Strauss, & Goodhue (somewhere, Massachussettes). They know modems and FCC-68 inside and out.
