o Version 4.0 of Smith and Smith (PNAS 97:???? 1990) PLSEARCH has just
  been added to the Unix section.  See the help and index files for
  information. It is also available for anonymous FTP from
  lavaca.uh.edu, 129.7.1.19 in ~ftp/pub/genbank-server/Unix.

o MacPattern, Mac program for use with Amos Bairoch's PROSITE database(*)
  has been added to the Mac section

o Disinfectant-2.0 has also been added.  An important update.

The mac sw is not yet on the anonymous FTP server.

To get started with the genbank-server, send a mail message to
	genbank-server@bchs.uh.edu
or	genbank-server%bchs.uh.edu@cunyvm.cuny.edu
                             (BITNET/EARN/NETNORTH)

with the single line "HELP".
