A couple days ago, somebody request an info about the availability of Font
editor for Borland's BGI Driver.  Well, your mail bounced back and I delete the
return mail from the mailer by habit (thought it was an acknowledge from the
mailer).  My co-worker who happened to read the article with me said she
remembered that it has something to do with cat.  (She's nut about cat.)  So
here's is your answer.

Last summer, June-July '89, Borland came out with a BGI Tools Kit.  It contains
source code and sample of how to develop your own BGI Driver.  Samples also
included: herc.BGI and vga256.BGI.  Also in the Tools Kit, a Font Editor (FE,
what else?) is included which allows you to develop your own font for use with
the BGI Driver.  FE required you to have a 128K EGA or higher (at lease the
version that I have -- anybody know if their's any upgrade to this?).  Here's
the list of the whole Tools Kit:

They can be found on any Borland's "files area".  The readme refers to
Compu$erve and GENie but I downloaded mine from BIX.  At least as of today,
7-21-90, they are still on BIX (flat-fee is always nice to my wallet than
connect-fee 8^) ).
