Message-ID: <90@alchemy.UUCP> Date: 22 Jul 90 14:55:11 GMT Reply-To: hzink@alchemy.UUCP (Harry K. Zink) Organization: Alchemy Software Designs Lines: 22 We have an installation where we are using a T2500 on a 386 machine, and the current serial port/driver only yields about 48% in transfer efficinecy with the T2500 (the 386 is a 25 MHz machine). I suspect the serial port to be the culprit and would like to ask what suggestions anyone out there might have to alleviate the problem. Is there a faster, or buffered serial port out there? Any responses are appreciated. Preferably reply via E-mail, as I check this news group only occasionally.
