Tektronix (my employer) has a subsidiary LPCOM, which I believe makes a 
product which may fill your need. Hope this helps:

Also, I found this name (sales) : Vern Sarkin  415-335-2868 . 

The model I saw split the screen between Lanalyzer & serial-line capture.

I've used my Lanalyzer for years, but usually watch others do serial-line
diagnosis (not my turf, you know, old chap). The LPCOM looked like it was 
good for that too. Let me know what you think.
