Here is basically what I have been attempting to do so far: I have set my terminal type to applications keypad and to VT100. Then, I employ an EMACS.RC that goes something like this: write-message "[Setting up cursor keys...]" bind-to-key next-line FNB bind-to-key previous-line FNA bind-to-key forward-character FNC bind-to-key backward-character FND (The particular FN* bindings came from the MicroEMACS documentation, BTW.) However, none of the cursor keys end up working. I don't believe that it's a foul-up with the terminal emulation of the physical terminal used, since I have tried many different types of terminals. (This doesn't preclude a possible problem with SYS$SYSTEM:SMGTERMS.TXT or SYS$SYSTEM:TERMTABLE.TXT, but I doubt that too.) Could someone please help? Any help would be appreciated.
