It is available in both Sunview and X-WIndow versions. BBN/Slate is a multimedia document communications and conferencing system, designed to run over both local and wide-area networks. Conferencing can occur between any number of sites which have TCP/IP connectivity. Because the system is multimedia, you can conference over text, graphics, images, spreadsheets, etc. It is a very exciting package, and I say so even though I've worked at BBN the past three years on the system.
