Has anyone managed to debug AT&T V2.0 C++ with gdb 3.5 ?

We are having problems with the Sun C++ release and gdb.

Unlike the previous version of gdb, programs will run under gdb, but we
cannot set breaks, list code, etc. It gives a symbol table error at position
27.
