We are considering buying a Tektronic color postscript printer PhaserPX
or 4693PX (or something like that, the one that listed for $8000.00).
Does anyone has any experience with this particular printer ? What
application can generate color postscript files ? I saw that FrameMaker
can do color postscript prints, is it easy to do ?

There are also many occasion we would want to dump our color screen and
get color prints. Is there any available filter that can take any size
of a 8bit raster file and convert it to a color postscript file and 
then send it to the printer. Tektronic's sale person said they don't
have it.
